VALUE CHAIN

Our sawmills mark the beginning of our operations and serve as the primary source for wood fibre for our entire range of products. To ensure maximum utilization of each tree, we have made substantial investments in advanced technology and practices. With nine sawmills in operation, we consistently produce top-quality lumber, renowned worldwide for its exceptional strength and quality thanks to a diverse species found in the Acadian forests.

The chips and sawdust obtained from our sawmills are transported to other mills where they are used as raw materials for various consumer products. Additionally, the shavings are carefully kiln dried and repurposed as bedding for animals. Internally, we utilize the sawdust and shavings at our wood pellet plant. Hardwood and pine are directed to our value-added centres, where they are transformed into decorative panels, fencing, painted lumber, as well as hardwood components used in cabinetry and windows.
