RECIPIENTS OF NEW NORTHERN NB TRADES & ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP NAMED

J.D. Irving, Limited's Woodlands and Sawmill divisions are pleased to announce the recipients of the new Northern New Brunswick Trades & Engineering Scholarship.

This scholarship is the first of its kind from JDI to support students to build careers in high demand fields and to offer employment within their local community. Applications were open for grade 12 graduates and mature students interested in skilled trades or engineering that live in rural communities in northern NB areas where JDI operates.

The scholarship awards the cost of tuition (up to $5,000) to recipients, guarantees paid work terms during their studies, and offers full-time employment post-graduation at J.D. Irving, Limited within our Sawmills and Woodlands divisions. The recipients were treated to a welcome luncheon and a tour of our northern New Brunswick Sawmills & Woodlands operations, where they learned the importance of vertical integration, safety, and how we're working for the future in northern New Brunswick.

We're proud of the below students who have been awarded the scholarship and look forward to welcoming them in their internship and apprenticeship roles.
